How do I activate UNI5G Roam?
Buy a roaming pass (Daily/Weekly/Middle East). For UNI5G Postpaid 99 & above, international roaming may auto-activate—just switch on Data Roaming at your destination.
Which plans are eligible?
All current UNI5G Postpaid mobile plans support roaming passes. Some legacy plans may require enabling roaming first in the app/portal.
When does the validity start?
Validity starts when your phone first connects to a partner network at the destination (not at the time of purchase). E.g., a 7-day pass runs for 7×24 hours from first connection.
Is the 5G/4G speed capped?
Roaming passes provide uncapped network speed where available. Fair Usage Policy (FUP) may apply to protect network quality; speeds may be managed after heavy usage.
Can I share hotspot while roaming?
Yes, hotspot/tethering is supported for roaming passes unless restricted by a local partner network. Usage counts towards your pass quota/FUP.
Will I be charged extra beyond the pass?
No bill shock when you stay on a valid pass. If the pass expires or you travel to a country not covered, pay-per-use roaming rates may apply.
Can I use one pass across multiple countries?
Yes—Daily/Weekly “Asean” and “Global” passes work across supported countries within the pass group. Middle East passes apply to eligible Middle East destinations listed.
How do I know which countries are included?
Tap “List of countries” on each card. Coverage depends on partner networks and may change. Always check the list before travelling.
Can I stack or top up passes?
You can purchase a new pass while another is active; the new pass will start after the current one ends, or immediately if you choose to activate now.
eSIM / Dual-SIM support?
Yes. For dual-SIM phones, set your UNI5G line as the data line and enable Data Roaming on that line. eSIM is supported on compatible devices.
